Yesterday, Thursday, July 2, 2026, the opening of the 5th International Ceramics Festival ‘EARTH -WATER-FOTIA’ in Thrapsano took place with great success.
The evening began with the welcome George Mavrantonakis, President of CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF THRAPSANOS.
Greetings from the lady followed Georgia Milaki, Deputy Regional Governor for Culture of the Region of Crete, Mrs. Elena Bazini From the Directorate of Newer Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Emmanuel Ladomenos, former Mayor of Thrapsanos, the Vassilis Kegeroglou, Mayor of Minoa Pediados, Mrs. Evagelia Agelaki, President of the Trade Association of Thrapsanos as well as by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arkalochori, Kastelli and Viannos, Andreas.
Then followed a guided tour and a walk to the festival stands.
